In October 2014, DGN staff members initiated the "Positively Awesome Award" a new program to recognize students for their success in school, related to the Positively North expectations of respect, responsibility, and engagement.
Selected Students recieve an award each week during their 2nd period class, along with a certificate stating the reason for the acknowledgment.
